The Pan de Molde de Espelta is a golden, tasty and nutritious bread. A clean composition, with the minimum ingredients that must have a bread of these characteristics: flour, mass mother and salt.

History of the Espelta
The spelta or Spelt wheat (Triticum spelta), also known as major scana or major shock, has been documented for 10,000 years in archaeological sites in the middle east. Cultivated since the Middle Ages in the Iberian Peninsula and other regions of Europe.
Since the beginning of the twentieth century there has been a hybridization of the spelt having mixed the farro and the great spelt with normal wheat and hard trims. After a thorough investigation, carried out at the German University of Garching, by the Doctor. Herbert Wieser, a 1996 study of 24 spelt varieties grown in Germany, came to the conclusion that only 4 of those varieties of great spelt can be said to be non-hybridized pure and thus retain all the genuine qualities of the spelt.
